About

My working life began at 14 years of age as an apprentice flat jockey. Weight - mostly - and some growth, put paid to that ambition. Returning to education, resulted in a number of qualifications, mainly in the area of business and people management.
In my subsequent varied working life experiences, especially since 1998 when I began operating as a training and organisational development consultant, I have acquired both an in-depth knowledge and empathy for the demands and related stresses that face employees at all levels in today's working environment.
In the delivery of training, I always ensure that an integral part of the delivery focuses on both the instilling of confidence and the development of skills in course participants.
My facilitation style enhances participation and collaboration through the building of trust and support.
My approach to coaching, be it at individual or group level, is to get people to work as much as possible in the present with a view to positively changing things in the future.
